Film career

           Soundarya was the daughter of Kannada film producer and writer K. S. Satyanarayan. She was born and raised in Bangalore. She made her film debut while in her first year of MBBS,Gandarva(1992).
She moved on to Telugu films, Soundarya also acted in one Hindi film, She produced and acted in the Kannada film Dweepa, with Girish Kaasaravalli as director. The film won the Golden Lotus which is given for best film of the year.

Personal life

Soundarya was born in the village of Ashtagrama. She was an Iyar. She married her maternal uncle's son and childhood friend, software engineer G. S. Raghu, on 27 April 2003. She planned on promoting public welfare.   She had donated money to numerous educational institutions during her lifetime.

Death

 Soundarya died on April 17, 2004, in a plane crash near    Banglore, when the four-seater Cessna 180 caught fire immediately after take-off. She was on her way to Andra pradesh to campaign for the BJP for the coming elections. Her brother, Amarnath, a producer of Kannada films, also died in the accident.

Early life

Prema was born in Banglore January 6th. Prema studied in Mahila Seva Samaja high school in Bangalore. She completed her PUC in SSMRV College Banglore. Her hometown is Coorg She was a national level player in high jump and volleyball.

Film career

Prema stepped into Kannada filmdom with the movie "Savyasachi" starring against Shivarajkumar in 1995.
Later from the block buster OM Prema gained a comfortable position in 1996.
She won a State Award Winner for the Category 'Best Actress' in 1996. for the movie Om. She bagged Filmfare ('Best Actress') award for the movie 'Kanasugara' in 2001.
Prema has also gone on to act in other languages. In 1996. Today she is has acted in five languages.

Personal life

Prema is married to Jeevan Appachu, a Coorgi (Kodava) Software Placement Consultant / Business Man. They got married on Thursday, July 6, 2006.

Early life

Born in a Kannada speaking family in Karnataka. Shruthi's birth name is Priyadarshini. The name Shruti was given to her by the director Dwarkish during her first movie, as a heroine, Shruthi.

Cinema career

Shruthi was in Puttur in her early ages of life. Shruti started her cinema career as a side actress and acted in Kannada movie Asegodda Meesegobba. as the hero Shivaralkumar's sister. Later in the year 1990, she acted as heroine in the movie Shruthi directed and produced by Dwarkish. This movie was a successful one running over 25 weeks. Some of the most famous and successful Kannada movies from Shruti.

Personal life

 She was married to Mahendar and now divorced.

ABOUT AMOOLYA:

Amoolya is a Kannada film actress and former Child actor.
Amoolya was introduced as a heroine by S Narayan for the film Cheluvina Chittara which became a sensational hit in the Kannada film industry in the year 2007. With her first film as heroine Amoolya has attained such a huge popularity that her photo was embossed on many Autos running in the state. Amoolya had played the character of Aishwarya in the film And the Kannada film fans would call in her character's name whenever she appeared on the stage in the functions. Now, Amoolya who has been described as a Holiday heroine by director S.Narayan has acted in Chaitradha Chandrama which is her second film as a heroine. Amoolya says that her second film is as good as the first one and hopes that the film will turn out to be a block buster.

Radhika Pandit (atress)


Early years

Radhika Pandit born on 7 March, hails from a Konkani-speaking community of Chitrapur saraswat brahmin  near Uttara Kannada District. She studied in Cluny Covent High School and Mount Carmel College and currently resides near Devaiah Park, Bangalore.
She acted in two Kannada tele-serials, "Nandagokula" and "Sumangali", before starting a career as a film actress. Pandit made her feature film debut in Moggina Manasu which rendered her a Film Fare Award for Best Actress in Kannada in 2008, as well as the KannadaState Film Award  for 2008-09. She again won the Filmfare Award in 2009  for her performance in the film Love Guru and went on to win a third Filmfare Award at2010 Ceremony as well for her performance in Krishan Love Story. She's the only actress among the current crop of actresses to have claimed back to back Filmfare Awards making it three years in a row.

Malashri (Kannada: ಮಾಲಾಶ್ರೀ)  is an Indian actress in the Kannada Film Industry known for the dramatic lead roles. She made her debut in the all time Kannada Hit "Nanjundi Kalyana" in 1989. Her portrayal of a haughty, shrewish woman in the movie won her many accolades heralding her as the top actress of Kannada Cinema. Her next few movies were all author backed with her playing the pivotal role. All these went on to become super hits. Movies like Gajapati Garvabanga, Policana Hendathi, Prathap, Kitturina Huli and Tavarumane Udugore made her a household name and Malashri went on to become the highest paid Kanndada actress ever.

Career

Malashri first appeared in the song 'Olage Seridare Gundu', sung by Manjula Gururaj, in the movie Nanjundi Kalyana, which went on to become one of the most popular Kannada songs in decades. She had a few comeback hits in the new millennium with "angry woman" roles in Chamundi, Durgi and Kannada Kiran Bedi.

Personal life

Malashri shot to fame with Nanjundi Kalyana in 1989 but her personal life hit an all time low the same year when her mother died in a road accident. A few years down the line when she was at the pinnacle of her extremely successful career, ill fate revisted her life, when her close friend and co-star in several movies, Sunil, was killed in a tragic road accident. She was lucky to survive the accident. She had plans to get married to him. She is currently married to producer Ramu and has a daughter, Ananya.and son. Her sister Subhashri was also an actress in south.

Shilpa Shetty (atress)
Biography

Shilpa Shetty was born in a traditional close-knit family in  Manglore, that hails from the Bunt community.
She is the eldest daughter of Surendra and Sunanda Shetty, and her native language is Tulu although she speaks several other languages at differing levels, including English, Marathi, Hindi, Tamil, Gujarati, Telugu, Urdu and basic French.
In Mumbi, she attended St. Anthony Girls' High School in Chembur, and later attended Podar College in Matunga. A trained Bharathanatyam dancer, she is also into sports, was the captain of the volleyball team in school, has earned a black belt in karate and is currently a dancesport expert and enthusiast.
Shetty's younger sister Shermitha Shetty is also a Bollywood actress. They worked together once in the film Fareb (2005).

Shilpa Shetty with husband Raj Kundra. Shetty married Raj Kundra on 22 November 2009 and announced on her web site that "I am officially Shilpa Shetty Kundra now!!
